World Chess Club Berlin
This is a design-led chess venue on Unter den Linden with two bars, a coffee shop, event space and a streaming studio. No membership is needed, and it suits everyone from casual players to FIDE-rated competitors.

Chess & Jazz Berlin
This is a live-jazz series with free-entry chess on about 20 sets, plus quarterly all-levels tournaments (blitz, rapid and Fischer Random).

Schachcafé & Bar en passant
This long-running chess café and bar in Prenzlauer Berg has free board and clock rental, open rapid and blitz tournaments, and tandem (bughouse) evenings. Several Berlin clubs hold their club nights here.
